In January 2013 I started working at the Centre for Development Innovation (CDI). I have been working on the MFS II evaluations that look at a part of the Dutch government policy on development aid, and am involved in facilitating trainings on process tracing in Indonesia, India, and Ethiopia for the evaluation of organizational capacity development. In collaboration with the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) I did an ex-post impact evaluation in Zambia and Gambia, using mixed methods. Furthermore, I am working on he development of an M&E framework and on rolling out the baseline for an ex-ante impact evaluation of a dairy development project in Indonesia and Vietnam.
Before joining CDI I worked as home-based consultant for the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), where I summarized published articles on counterfactual impact evaluations of development aid projects. At the same time I taught classes in research methodology to management students at the Radboud University, and worked as a cook for several restaurants in the Nijmegen area. Before that I finished an Advanced Master in International Dvelopment (AMID), a research master in Social Cultural Science, and a bachelor in Sociology.
